Reiki (pronounced ray-key) is a gentle hands-on healing technique. The word comes from two Japanese words, Rei and Ki meaning Universal Life Force. Simply put, Reiki is the channeling of Universal Energy (Life Force) for the purposes of healing. The healing takes place on all levels, physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual. Reiki is both powerful and gentle and can be used as an aid in treating any type of illness.
We are all alive because this Universal Life Force flows through us. Reiki works with this Life Force to help with the natural healing process within all living things.
Reiki can be used alone or as a complementary therapy along with traditional western and veterinary medicine.
