How soon will I notice an improvement? - Some patients notice partial or even complete relief as soon as the treatment is given. Others may find that improvement takes longer to appear - hours or even days. Some people find that their symptoms become worse for a day or two before they get better. This is more likely to happen after the first treatment. It is nothing to worry about and indeed a temporary worsening of this kind is often followed by a good improvement.
